Welcome to Deb's Quilt Studio, where creativity meets craftsmanship in every stitch. With 18 years of quilting experience, I have cultivated a deep passion for the art of quilting that spans across all styles and techniques. My versatile expertise encompasses traditional heritage quilts, contemporary modern designs, and expressive art quilts, allowing me to bring any vision to life.
My quilting journey began with learning the basics many years ago, thanks to great mentors who instructed me and encouraged me to take on more advanced and complicated quilts. I made so many quilts that I got tired of having them quilted by another longarm quilter.
Like a few other quilters, I started out with a home model longarm machine. I absolutely hated it. After working in a quilt shop and learning on professional machines, I knew I needed a Gammill. I ultimately got a Computerized Statler Stitcher, and the rest is history.
As a dedicated quilting professional, I offer custom quilting services, transforming clients' cherished fabrics and ideas into stunning heirloom pieces. My commitment to sharing the joy of quilting extends beyond my studio through engaging workshops, comprehensive quilting classes, and inspiring quilt retreats where fellow enthusiasts gather to learn, create, and connect.
I love quilting for other people, but I also have a passion for gardening. Just as I carefully tend to my garden, nurturing each plant to bloom, I approach every quilt with the same attention to detail and patience, watching patterns and colors come together in perfect harmony. This connection to nature often influences fabric choices and color palettes, bringing an organic warmth to my work.
Deb’s Quilt Studio is located in the White Mountains of Arizona in a relatively small town. We provide longarm quilting services for local quilters and offer a mail-in option with two-week turnaround times.
