County Fair & Quilt Show Deadlines Approaching

Fair and quilt show season is approaching faster than we think! If you're planning to enter your beautiful creations, please remember to get your quilts in early. These events have strict deadlines, and we'd hate for anyone to miss the opportunity to showcase their hard work. Check with your local fair or show organizers for specific dates.

New E-Commerce Website Launching Soon!

We're thrilled to announce that we'll be launching a brand new e-commerce website in the coming months! Soon you'll be able to shop online 24/7 for all your quilting essentials, including:

•       Batting

•       Wide-back fabrics

•       Baby flannels

•       Blender fabrics

Everything available online will also be in stock at the studio. Plus, we're working to have all vendor fabrics available by our April event!

Classes:

Bowl Cozy Class

Learn to create practical and versatile bowl cozies perfect for protecting your hands from hot soups or keeping cold treats chilled. A free pattern is included!

Date & Time: Saturday, May 10th, 2026 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Deb's Quilt Studio

358 W. Casa Linda Drive, Taylor, AZ 85939

What You'll Learn:

In this hands-on class, you'll complete a bowl cozy from start to finish:

•       Preparation (10-15 mins): Select and cut two 10-inch squares of 100% cotton fabric and two 9-inch squares of cotton batting

•       Sewing (15-30 mins): Mark darts, sew, trim, and turn the cozy

•       Finishing (5-10 mins): Topstitch around the edge for a professional finish

What to Bring:

•       2 fat quarters of fabric (may be purchased before class)

•       Working sewing machine (oiled, cleaned, and in good working order) with 100% cotton thread and appropriate needles

What's Included:

•       Pre-cut bowl cozy batting (included in class fee)

•       Free pattern

Prerequisites:

•       Age 16+

•       Basic sewing knowledge

•       Ability to sew a straight seam

Skill Level: Beginner
